Course Description

Turnitin has released a major product upgrade that will be available at LSU for the 2016 Summer term. The new version of the service, called Turnitin Feedback Studio, offers all the functionalities of Turnitin, but with a simplified, more intuitive interface designed for the modern classroom. Turnitin is providing LSU with an online/webinar institutional training. You can join the online meeting by clicking on the link to the Adobe Connect session below. You are welcome to join us at the Faculty Technology Center (109 Middleton Library) for the viewing if you like. Please see below for additional information.

    • Online grading: rubrics, QuickMark comments, voice comments, etc.
  • See how Turnitin can be used to support academic integrity.

Abstract:

In this session, institution administrators and faculty will have the opportunity to take advantage of a live training session on the use of Turnitin, covering everything from class and assignment set-up through the use of the originality checking and grading tools to evaluate student work. This session will address the Turnitin touch points via Moodle. In addition, during the session we will also discuss how Turnitin can be used to support academic integrity and help students learn how to use source material more appropriately. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions and dive into the full Turnitin feature set.
