This training will provide a practical beginner introduction to Python programming language for science and engineering computations, focusing on popular Python modules such as numpy, scipy and matplotlib to get users familiar with building quick Python solutions for real world engineering/science applications.
Prerequisites:
No prior Python programming knowledge is assumed but some experience in a programming language will be useful.
A desktop/laptop with a Python programming environment installed (such as Anaconda Python); OR,
LONI/LSU HPC account, SSH client such as Putty to access Python installed on HPC/LONI clusters.
