Course Description

Prerequisite: Prior experience with Turnitin Feedback Studio is not required for this workshop. This workshop is designed for those in a teaching role at LSU (faculty, graduate teaching assistants).

Description: Turnitin Feedback Studio (the latest version of Turnitin) is a web-based solution that puts the student’s assignment at the center of the feedback process. It is not just a plagiarism detection tool. Learn how Turnitin Feedback Studio can manage student assignments, save instructors time, and support academic integrity while increasing feedback quality and student engagement. Grade anything and anywhere!  This workshop will cover the following procedures and features:

  • Creating a Turnitin assignment in Moodle
  • Interpreting the 'originality' report
  • Using grading features: QuickMark comments, voice comments, rubrics, etc.
  • Getting assistance/ support
