Description: Learners are increasingly drawn to online learning for the flexibility it offers for balancing work, life, and education. Yet, the online learning environment may leave students feeling isolated, missing the immediate, personal response found in the brick-and-mortar setting. In this webinar, you will be introduced to student expectations for online learning and online faculty members’ role to facilitate learners’ engagement, with the intentions of developing a community of learning. Attendees will walk away with resources for designing activities and some tips and tools for building a community of learning. Time for a Q&A session will be allotted, so bring your questions!
