Creating accessible Word Documents

In this hands-on workshop, participants will gain a basic understanding of the structure and elements that are required to create an accessible Word Document, as well as how to run the Microsoft Accessibility Checker on the document. There will also be a short lab at the end of the presentation to practice these techniques.

Using the New LSU Online Template for Online Courses

As the Digital & Continuing Education team continues to work towards modernizing the online experience for faculty and students, templates were created for online courses using the new Snap theme in the Moodle environment. This workshop will provide interested faculty with a closer look at the template, and opportunities for hands-on assistance using the template. The second half of the workshop will be in an “open lab” format to allow for individualized support.

The Taskstream 101 workshop will follow an open-ended format and will focus on addressing participants’ questions related to strategic planning and student learning assessment reporting. Participants are thus invited to ask questions relating to any challenges encountered using the software. Computers will be available for participants to navigate the system

Customer Accounts Receivable and Deposit (CARD) Instructor Led Workday Training

New employees as well as existing employees are invited to attend the CARD Instructor Led Workday Training. In this training, completing, approving, printing, submitting and editing a CARD entry will be covered as well as reviewing the status of CARD entries, best practices for merchants including PCI requirements and establishing and clearing receivables.
