This fall The Faculty Technology Center will again be sponsoring FOOD FOR THOUGHT: A Seminar Series for GTAs on campus.* Our second offering is a webinar entitled “Copyright Essentials: Rights and Responsibilities."

Presenter: Peggy Hoon, LSU Libraries- Director of Copyright Policy and Education

Description:  As both users and creators of copyrighted materials, understanding your rights and responsibilities is crucial to your teaching and scholarly efforts.  What can you use in your class?  In your theses/dissertations?  Alternately, who holds the copyright to works you create and/or publish? Join us for an informational session and discussion these topics.

Using a PC or Mac with internet access, you can join the webinar on October 21st at 11:30am (Central) by accessing the link below.
