Course Description

Note: This workshop is aimed for faculty who will be starting course development for LSU Online (courses that are for fully online programs offered through LSU Online) at the LSU A&M campus.

Alignment is the intentional connection between course outcomes, learning objectives, assessments, activities and materials. Course alignment builds a strong internal framework; helps ensure that both you and your students have accurate expectations about what will be taught in your course; and that students are practicing and demonstrating the skills you want them to learn. In this webinar, you will learn strategies for aligning your course from writing measurable and observable course outcomes and learning objectives to formulating relevant assessments. This webinar is recommended for all faculty interested in designing cohesive learning experiences. The webinar is scheduled to last for one hour, and the last 30 minutes will be devoted to questions.
