Target audience: Faculty teaching a(n)LSU Online course(s) that will be cross-enrolled; department staff responsible for entering courses/instructors on the mainframe

The purpose of this session is to provide LSU Online program faculty and staff with a walkthrough of the cross-enrollment process, which combines student populations in online campus sections and LSU Online sections of the same course. This consolidation is useful for maximizing faculty teaching efficiency and cost effectiveness. The workshop will begin with an overview of cross-enrollment, including possible scenarios for its use. Then, the facilitator will guide participants through the specific steps that must be taken to cross-enroll a course for LSU Online. This will include a discussion of timelines and the important roles of staff, teaching faculty, and program administrators.We will also provide instruction on entering courses into mainframe. There will be time at the end of the session for any questions.
