- Selective Import
- Backing up courses
You will be able to:
- Import a master course or previous teaching course into your new teaching course.
- Selectively import individual content items from one course into another
- Create backup files for courses if needed
General topics covered in the course include:
- Roles required for importing / restoring course content
- Simple Restore - Course Tools
- Import all materials into current course
- Overwrite current course
- Creating backup files
- Selective Import - Course Administration menu
- Select all then deselect items to be omitted (default)
- Deselect all and then select items to be included
This course will be facilitated via Zoom (join URL below) and take approximately 45 minutes and cover the tools used for creating backup files for courses as well as for importing or restoring course content from one course to another. Content can be selectively imported or restored as an entire course. Additional courses cover introductory topics as well as the Moodle Gradebook in greater detail.
